Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 8, 2026  ·  Last updated: July 8, 2026

More Tho ("More Tho," "we," "us," or "our") operates the More Tho website at moretho.com and the More Tho mobile apps (together, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, who processes it on our behalf, and the choices you have.

More Tho is an event-driven market-education and news product. By using the Service you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.

Not financial advice More Tho provides market education, news, and scenario analysis for informational purposes only. It is not financial, investment, legal, or tax advice, is not a broker or exchange, and does not make buy or sell recommendations. "Scenario certificates" are transparency and consistency records for educational scenarios — they are not predictions, odds, or guarantees of any outcome. Always do your own research and consult a licensed professional before making financial decisions.

1. Information we collect

We collect only what we need to run and personalize the Service. Specifically:

What we collectExamplesWhy
Account email The email address you use to create and sign in to your account. Authenticate you, secure your account, and contact you about the Service.
Chosen interests The topics you select (e.g. crypto, commodities, macro) to shape your news wall. Personalize the news wall and scenarios you see.
Chat messages The questions and messages you send to the in-app AI assistant. Generate a response and improve the assistant's usefulness.
Usage data Pages and articles viewed, features used, session and device/technical data such as approximate app version, and log data. Keep the Service working, understand what's useful, and improve it.

We do not ask for or collect your financial account credentials, brokerage logins, government IDs, precise location, health data, or contacts. We are not a brokerage and never take custody of funds.

2. How we use your information

We do not use your information to provide individualized financial advice, and we do not make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you.

3. How we share information (service providers / processors)

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own independent marketing. We use a small set of trusted service providers ("processors") who handle data only on our instruction to operate the Service:

We may also disclose information if required by law, to respond to lawful requests, or to protect the rights, property, and safety of More Tho, our users, or the public. If More Tho is involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, we will provide notice before your information is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

4. We do not sell your data

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not "share" it for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA). We do not trade in personal data.

5. Data security

All data is encrypted in transit using TLS/HTTPS. We apply administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your information and limit access to it.

6. Data retention

We keep your account information for as long as your account is active. We retain usage and chat data for as long as needed to provide and improve the Service, then delete or de-identify it. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal information within a reasonable period, except where we must retain it to comply with legal obligations or resolve disputes.

7. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live (for example, the EEA/UK or California), you may have additional rights such as data portability, objection to processing, and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. We honor these rights as required by applicable law; contact us to exercise them.

8. Children's privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. International users

We operate the Service using infrastructure that may process and store data in the United States and other countries. By using the Service, you understand your information may be transferred to and processed in countries that may have different data-protection laws than your own. We rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers where required.
